The Next Web relies on the V3rtice press department to promote its first edition in Spain

The Next Web has relied on the services of the V3rtice press department to promote the first edition of its conference in Spain. The event, held on March 30 and 31 at La Marina de Valencia, managed to bring together more than 2,300 attendees from more than 50 countries and was covered by the country’s main media.

The Next Web is the leading international technology festival for innovation and entrepreneurship promoted by the Financial Times. After holding its conference in Amsterdam for 16 years, his organization chose Valencia as the venue in 2023 because the city has the fastest growing business ecosystem in Spain.

With the aim of promoting this event and achieving the maximum possible visibility in the national, regional, economic and technological media, V3rtice developed an approach strategy based on writing and sending press releases and conducting interviews with The spokespersons for The Next Web.

Coupled with this, the press department attended the conference in person and was in charge of selecting and monitoring the journalists who attended it, as well as facilitating the management of on-site interviews.

Thanks to this work, The Next Web appeared in the main media, including television, national radio, and the general and specialized press on innovation, economy, and technology.

The conference had a wide panel of opinion leaders from international companies such as Google, LaLiga, IBERIA, Mercadona or Iberdrola and their interventions covered topics such as innovation, sustainability, inclusive economies or how technology can shape the world of tomorrow.

On the other hand, the event was attended by more than 300 startups and scaleups, who had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas to international investors with hundreds of millions of euros of accumulated investment. In addition, the opening ceremony, held the day before it began, was attended by Sandra Gómez, deputy mayor of Valencia.

Thanks to this type of event, Valencia continues to get closer to its goal of positioning itself as one of the European benchmarks in terms of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology.

For its part, through this synergy, V3rtice consolidates and expands its experience as an expert communication agency in event management and The Next Web manages to expand its brand to Spanish territory, where it has already set its sights to organize its event in 2024.

The Next Web Valencia closed the doors of its first edition in Spain on March 31, but, as has been demonstrated thanks to its success in the media in our country, this has only just begun.
